What Killearn Estates homes are dealing with

Killearn Estates was built out mostly through the 1970s and into the 1980s, and a lot of that stock carries moderate roof pitches with wide overhangs, the kind of design that was common on golf course and lakefront lots when the neighborhood was platted. Wide overhangs mean more linear footage of soffit and fascia exposed to weather, and more surface for water to find a seam.
